Campfire Cone Creation Station (Grades K-5)

Attention Master Campers! Create a personalized campfire cone, unique to your own taste buds. This “tried and true” recipe is kid tested and kid approved.

What You Need:

  • A package of wafer cones, waffle cones, sugar cones or any other cone of choice! (Having a variety of cones to choose from always adds an extra personal touch.)
  • Fillings
  • A oven mitt or pot holder

Options for Cone Fillings (Check That Allergy List)

  • Chocolate chips 
  • Peanut butter chips
  • Butterscotch chips
  • White chocolate chips
  • M&Ms 
  • Peanut butter M&Ms
  • Mini peanut butter cups 
  • Rolos
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Graham cracker pieces
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Cereal
  • Apple chips
  • Banana chunks
  • Strawberry slices
  • Raspberries 
  • Coconut
  • Nuts 

What To Do

  1. Set out cone filling choices in labeled cups or containers.
  2. Master Campers use their expertise in choosing a perfect combination for their taste buds.
  3. Layer filling items inside cones.
  4. Eat cold, or wrap individual cones completely in foil and bake at 400 degrees for five minutes. You can also use a campfire to bake your cone.
